yall are complaining about the endless misskey forks but you're forgetting the mstdn-ebooks ecosystem, with 30 thousand forks, all of which add one line and go dormant for three years before someone forks it again

then the agathasorceress one which i think was a maintainer change?
then there's io's fork for pleroma
and out of that there's steph's fork which adds a docker container
and aaaaAAA

@nbsp@yearning.gay the abandoned *nix os package experience - thousands of forks and every single one fixes one issue that hasn't been resolved because the main repository is abandoned/doesn't have the developer force it used to have
