sometimes i feel like cis people intentionally mispronounce trans peoples names to keep up the "its all so confusing" act. some of the typos and pronunciations ive seen for simple names are so mind boggling that either they see trans people's names as uniquely strange (possible) or refuse to even try to pronounce them to keep up the aforementioned act
