i found this really cool account that posts about rats that are trained and used to locate unexploded and forgotten about landmines. its really cool because the rats love it, they take great care of them, let them retire whenever they want, and since they’re itty bitty rats, the likelyhood of them detonating anything is very slim. there are so many comments that are like “erm . this is speiceisms >:( thje poor rats !! it should be people cleaning this up instead !!!”
