is it normal for ur body to like ? start shaking randomly ? and have your brain start like racing ? it happens to me every like two months and only goes away with a nap or just waiting it out lmao
@ellie@yearning.gay this is a panic attack trying to happen but you're to chill for it to
@ellie@yearning.gay i dropped out after a year of medical uni but idk that sounds like myoclonic epilepsy and is very not normal
@ellie@yearning.gay that's kinda a little l honestly
but more seriously, even if somehow it's this, it can be managed (i know that part from having this exact problem >:3)
talk about your symptoms with a doctor (and get to a neurologist), it might fix you
@ellie@yearning.gay fyi, it also might be a panic response or hundreds of different things, but it's very much not normal to happen on its own
@ellie i dont know what ph means but this happens to us too and idk what causes it djsofjfkfd pls tell if u find out :>
@ellie @zvava It probably is that (not a doctor but) you;re describing symptoms of heightened adrenaline, like if you drank a lot of caffeine or used an epi pen without needing it. Usually if your body is doing that unprompted it;s because it isn;t regulating your adrenaline properly, i.e. panic/anxiety attacks. For most people, their brain tries to excuse the misfiring hormone as relating to a stressor, which is why they experience the emotion of.. Well, panic. But studies conducted where people are given adrenaline but no stressor to pair it with show that you can have the βfeelingβ of being panicked physically, without being panicked emotionally
@alfredohno @zvava i see . my brain must be bein fucky then cuz i havent ingested any significant amt of caffeine in like months nor have i ever used an epipen smfmsmmgmfmh
