rlly wish spotify was a good platform for artist cus as a consumer it’s like great . i like spotify wrapped . i like how they handle releases and playlisting . its rlly easy to find new music on it . but God Fucking damn as an artist it rlly sucks u get fucked over in so many ways

@ellie here’s the funny catch: that part of spotify is good because the developer mass rewards themselves a lot in the regards of polishing the algorithmic experience. and a lot of the devs (a majority, former) that made this platform good were some of the best engineers both in practical performance and also in useful statistical data regarding music research.

…over the past couple of years that good-part mass was laid off. there’s basically nearly nothing left from what made the platform unique to begin with :^)
