@eris have u looked at syncthing :3 its been my go to and it's like Perfect for me ive never had problems with it

@nbsp i use it !! for certain things, mostly syncing photos from my phone . (the entire reason i started self hosting anything at all was i ran out of google photos storage space and wanted a way to back up photos on my own ) it was set up a month or so before nextcloud, and i only found out about the existence of nextcloud looking for a self hostable photo viewer. ( i tried using jellyfin's photo viewer but ehh ) since i installed nextcloud, i've used that for everything, maybe i should redo all my links with syncthing, it's already set up on every device i'd just have to add some folders. hmmm..

either way i do actually use nextcloud's other apps for stuff, my calendar is in there, i use its password manager, rss reader, totp manager , mobile notes app , and more ocassionaly but those are the most used . so i do need it to get back up eventually .
