im actually surprisingly knowledgeable on this its a cool topic !! that’s “grey noise” , which has every frequency playing at the same volume , where as white noise has every frequency playing at the same energy . though , something important to note , as wikipedia says - “Since equal-loudness curves depend not only on the individual but also on the volume at which the noise is played back, there is no one true grey noise.”
somethign closer to a “universal grey noise” would be pink noise , as pink noise creates an equal amount of energy per octave , instead of per hertz , but it’s more of an approximation than grey noise is , but it’s a lot closer to “equal loudness on all frequencies” than white noise is . yea !!!!!!!!
